We take bookings for 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 6:30pm daily.

After these times we are a walk in restaurant. We do not offer bookings after 6:30pm, with a limited exception for large groups.

We do take bookings for two large groups of 8 or more after 8:30pm.

Please note that groups of 8 or more are required to dine off our banquet menu.

Our friendly team can answer any questions regarding our banquets and bookings availability.

December Opening Hours

LONgTIME will again be open on Mondays during December. Although many nights are already full for large bookings, if you are in need of hosting a Christmas party we still have some times available on the Monday nights. Please contact the booking team (seatme@longtime.com.au) with any enquires.

We took the heat, vibrancy and unbeatable flavours from classic South-East Asian cuisine, and hid it in an alleyway in Fortitude Valley. Follow the fairy lights, pass the tuk-tuk, and find yourself seduced by the sounds of sizzling woks, clinking wine glasses and the unmistakeable chitter-chatter of happy diners. Amongst family, friends, or lovers you’ll eat communally and like kings, sharing spicy mouthfuls with matched wines, and delicate bites with Thai inspired cocktails.

Welcome to LONgTIME, Brisbane’s fun and modern take on casual, street-inspired Asian food, with a focus on informal, yet elegant dining.

Our menu focuses on sharing, so whether you’re adventurous, inquisitive or merely wanting a great meal, our head chef Nathan Lastevec and his tireless team have specially crafted a menu that caters for creatures of all kinds. Alongside them are our hardworking, goodlooking bar/floor team, whose primary interests are getting you well fed, well quenched and making sure your experience is always going to reflect the LONgTIME you know and love.

LONgTIME is open 6 nights a week, Tuesday through to Sunday. We’re always busy, so book a table between 10am and 5pm to assure you have a spot. As always, keep updated for our special events through our various social media channels.






What would the food be without the perfect drink to match? Not only has our delightful bar team crafted a cocktail list that caters above and beyond to even the most discerning drinker, we have equal presence in crafting the beer and wine list. Focussing on pairing, our Three R’s form the majority of the list, so peruse a list of Rieslings, Rhones and Rosés that range from the biodynamic, the organic and most importantly, are directly sourced from local winemakers. Impressively, they not only have that, they’re all just bloody great drops of plonk.

Not into R&R…&R? Accompanying them are an equally delectable list of every other tipple your tongue could possibly tingle for – spirits, beers (including our very own Horny Elephant Ale) and ooh! Bubbles! Ask your waiter for their suggestion as our focus on education ensures all our staffs’ knowledge is up to date. You’re never left without a perfect drop at LONgTIME.





Known for his infectious enthusiasm and sagacious knowledge of Asian cuisine, we introduce our irreplaceable executive chef, Ben Bertei.

Before he graced the LONgTIME stoves, Ben was working in some of the highest intensity kitchens in Australia, helping to nurture the now famous Longrain in Melbourne, to a five year stint head cheffing at Spirithouse. Away from the kitchen, Ben’s steadfast favour of local produce and BBQ keeps LONgTIME in the loop with the best local suppliers of sustainable fruit, veg and meats. Ben and Nathan’s long time friendship and comradery makes for an unique kitchen experience; their longstanding trust keeping the food consistently tasty and the experience immersive and thrillsome. He’s got a kickass smile too.


Gatekeeper of flavour in LONgTIME’s kitchen is Nathan Lastevec, whose Asian persuasion was honed at some of Australia’s most recognisable figureheads across the cuisine, including Noosa’s Spirithouse and Melbourne’s Longrain. Pairing this with a number of stints in Hatted restaurants encompassing the broader spectrum of world cuisine, Lastevec’s boundless knowledge and fresh eyes help LONgTIME challenge traditional Asian cuisine. His invaluable confidence and calm in the kitchen, an incredible understanding of flavour and texture and his creative, sometimes complex, but always delectable cuisine has helped keep LONgTIME’s kitchen at the forefront of dining not only in Brisbane, but in Australia.

We offer three banquet options* ($50, $70 or $80) so you can take some of the heat off the decision making process, and spend more time looking lovingly into your partner’s eyes, or avoiding your mother-in-law’s. So to make sure we don’t upset the monks and the mad scientists, we’ve brewed our very own version of the good stuff. Meet the Horny Elephant Pale Ale, exclusive to the icy cold taps of our bar. Light and smooth on the palate, aided by the generous addition of wheat malts and moderate bitterness, Horny Elephant makes for a flavoursome and sessional ale that’ll pair perfectly with your meal.

Not only will it taste good, it’ll make you feel good by knowing that every beer you finish will go towards helping elephant conservation and rehabilitation efforts in Southeast Asia. Now if that doesn’t make your trunk stand on end, we don’t know what will.
